New Potomac Yard-VT Metro Opens in Alexandria
The Potomac Yard-VT Metro Station officially opened on Friday, May 19.

罢丑别听聽officially opened on Friday, May 19. The station - located on the blue and yellow lines between the National Airport and Braddock Road stations 鈥� will connect faculty, staff, and students from the Innovation Campus with industry, government, and 91pro视频 locations in the DC-area.聽
The ceremony speakers included 91pro视频 Senators Warner and Kaine, 91pro视频 Representative Beyer, City of Alexandria Mayor Justin Wilson, and 91pro视频 President Tim Sands.
"The Innovation Campus is plugging the broad 91pro视频 community into this incredibly exciting new tech district,鈥� said Lance Collins, Innovation Campus vice president and executive director. "And that鈥檚 not just us. That鈥檚 Amazon coming to the area. Boeing and Raytheon have announced that their headquarters are moving here. There is really a growth 鈥� maybe the fastest growth in the country 鈥� in terms of tech districts happening right here in Northern 91pro视频."
